Scarecrow Bookmark!

Well I am a bit behind on things and missed the design team posting over at the Outlawz Paper a la Mode, but thought I would play along anyway. The theme is: "In the Cornfield". I had already chosen this cute digi from Scrappin' Doodles and I had him partially coloured, so decided to finish it. I made this sweet little bookmark and can't wait to read a book to try it out.

Supplies are easy peasy for this one:

Cardstock: Gina K; MFT
Markers: Copic
Die: Tim Holtz Tag
Digi: Sammy Scarecrow loves books
Ribbon: scraps - unknown
Twine: MFT

Challenges I would like to enter:

Make It Monday #162 - always anything goes
Inspire Me Fridays - always anything goes
Chocolate Coffee Cards - autumn not Halloween

Thanks for stopping in!

Doodle Picture

Today the theme over at Saturday's Paper a la Mode on the Outlawz Challenges is Doodles. As soon as I saw the theme, I knew that I wanted to try to create something hand drawn. Now the problem is that I can't draw something from scratch, but if I see something I like, I can make a relatively good copy. So I headed on over to Pinterest to look for some inspiration. You can see the original here. I think I CASEd this pretty well. :) Just wish I could come up with some of these great ideas on my own. Hope you like it.

I used Simon Says Stamp water color paper, copic multiliners along with inktense pencil crayons and a Tim Holtz water brush. Easy Peasy!

Challenges I would like to enter:

As You Like It - Favourite Not a Card Project and Why?
This project is one of my favourites in a long time, because it is truly artsy and something that I drew myself. This takes a lot of effort on my part as it doesn't come naturally, so it makes me proud to finish a picture like this.

Have a great weekend,
