Fight like Girls

Good day! I'm here today with another card for my friend Nat. Her surgery went well and our staff gave her the following card. I just love this digi from Heather Valentin. It is a Lacy Sunshine image - isn't she adorable?? Most of the paper in this project is again from my stash and I am not sure of the company (but I do believe the pink on the inside is Bazzil's). The image is printed on X-Press It and colored with copics. The gems are ctmh, image and first mat were die cut with spellbinders. The stamp on the front is paper smooches and the inside sentiment is MFT. Buttons are unknown, flower punch is woodware and the middle part of flowers are again loose from my pink stash. The corner punch on the inside is Martha Stewart. I had so much fun coloring this image . . . hope you like it!

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Make It Monday - anything goes
Make My Monday - pink and black
Crafty Bloggers Network - anything goes
The Pink Elephant Challenge - anything goes
Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog - Favourite color combo (YES! love Pink and black!)
CMC Copic Challenge - Girly time

Have a wonderful week,

Fight Like a Girl

The following card was made for a friend of mine who just got diagnosed with breast cancer. I actually made it a week ago, but didn't have time to post. The image is a digital stamp from Whimsie Doodles and the images are from Hope Fights set. I colored the image with copic markers and fussy cut her out and popped her up. Cardstock is Gina K and X-Press It and the pink pattern papers are from my "pink stash" - not sure of the manufacturer. Daisy punches are woodware and dies are memory box and spellbinders. Inside sentiment is my own.

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:

Make It Monday - anything goes
Through the Craftroom Door - anything goes
Crafty Bloggers Network anything goes

Have a great week,

CAS Love

My last couple of cards before I head into the work week. I wanted to enter a card into the CAS-ual Fridays challenge. This week the theme is love letters. I did 3 cards and will enter the first one into the challenge. For my challenge card, I added liquid glass to the inside of the heart and lightly sprinkled prisma glitter. It doesn't look blue, but silvery in person (however, no matter how many times I photographed the card, it looks blue).

Same card, but no glitter. . .

Similar card, but rounded corners, layers and finished inside.

Cardstock: Gina K (white, pink, kraft), CTMH (black)
Gems: CTMH
Stamps: Gina K
Die cuts: Cricut

I would also like to enter my third card into Make It Monday challenge, where it is always anything goes.

Have a great week,

I also love that the dots on the paper add detail to the love stamp

Isn't this little envelope adorable??? I forgot about this punch and am glad I pulled it out. Both cards are 3 x 2.25".

Thanks for stamping in!

Moxie Fab: Make your own background paper

Moxie Fab World has had a few wonderful challenges going on for the last few weeks and I finally have a chance to sit and play. The challenges are based on a new book called 75 Creative Card Challenges. Here is my take on Challenge #49 - Make your background paper. I just wanted to create a simple card using a couple of CTMH stamps to create the decorative edge (with a masking technique). The flower is also a stamp and fussy cut and popped up in the centre.

Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to check out Moxie Fab World for some awesome inspiration.
